Christmas tree is a wellhead device used for extracting oil, such as self jetting wells and machine extraction wells. It is the main equipment for controlling and regulating oil and gas production at the top of oil and gas wells, mainly composed of three parts: casing head, tubing head, and production (gas) tree body.
1、 Opening a well (self jetting well): 1. Ensure that the production system is complete and the process is smooth enough to accept the fluid after opening the well. 2. All valves on the Christmas tree are in the correct on/off state, controlling the oil nozzle (adjustable oil nozzle). 3. Check the oil pressure at the wellhead and the status of safety equipment.
2、 Closing the well (self spraying well): 1. Close the oil nozzle. 2. Close the wing valve. 3. Close the ground safety valve if necessary. 4. Close the main valve if necessary.
3、 In some underground operations, the operation steps of the Christmas tree valve are as follows:
1. Close the well (oil nozzle, wing valve, wax removal valve, surface safety valve, and main valve) before entering the downhole tool.
2. Open the Christmas tree cap, install the riser and blowout preventer, and then conduct a pressure test on the riser.
3. Open the ground safety valve and lock it with a fused threaded cap. Test the reliability of locking the threaded cap in the open position.
4. Lock the hydraulic control circuit of the downhole safety valve of the oil pipe and test its reliability.
5. Open the main valve and then open the wax removal valve.
6. Hang labels on the locking parts of the main valve, wax removal valve, and safety valve to prevent other personnel from tampering with the valves.
7. Tools for underground operations.
8. After the downhole operation tool is lifted onto the riser, close the main valve and wax cleaning valve.
After depressurizing and removing the riser of the blowout preventer, install the Christmas tree cap,
10. Remove the locking thread cap of the ground safety valve, open the hydraulic locking valve of the downhole safety valve of the oil pipe, and remove the attached label,
11. Open the well for production according to the instructions.
